अगला अर्थ बुधवार का है बु का अर्थ बुरा ध का अर्थ है आग, वार का अर्थ है न्योछावर कर देना। अर्थात बुरे कर्मों में से आग को बाहर कर देना।यदि आग बाहर कर दि जाये तो बुरे कर्मों को जलाया नहीं जा सकता। न ही शरीर में शक्ति रहती है। जो आपको बुरे कर्मों से बचा सके। अंग्रेज़ी भाषा में भी अर्थ ऐसा ही निकलता है।वैड मीन्ज विवाह नैश मिन्ज नहीं, डे मिन्ज दिन और देह।
