पुनर्नवा साठी विशखपरा ने नाम से भी जानी जाती है साठी व विष खपरा के नाम से विख्यात यह औषधि वर्षा ऋतु में ज्यादातर पाई जाती है शरीर की बाहरी और आंतरिक सूजन को दूर करने में अत्यंत लाभकारी सिद्ध होती है यह तीन प्रकार की होती है सफेद लाल एवं काली । काली पुनर्वास प्राय देखने में नहीं मिलती। पुनर्नवा की जड़ की सब्जी सूजन नाशक है मूत्रालय की सूजन तथा स्वास्थ्य वर्धक है पुनर्नवा कड़वी गरम तीखी कसैली रोचक अग्नी दीपक की सूजन रुक्ष मधुर खारी सारक मूत्रालय एवं हृदय रोग के लिए लाभकारी है यह पांडु रोग अर्थात पीलिया विष दोष एवं शूल का नाश करती है औषधि के प्रयोग:-

1. प्रयोग एक नेत्रों की फूली पुनर्नवा की जड़ को पुनर्नवा की जड़ को घी में घिसकर नेत्र में लगाने से लाभ होता है।
2. नेत्रों की खुजली: – पुनर्नवा की जड़ को शहद में या दूध में पीसकर आंख में लगाने से आंखों की खुजली दूर होती है।
3. नेत्रों से पानी गिरना:- इसकी जड़ को शहद में घिसकर आंखों में लगाने से लाभ मिलता है
4. रतौंधी:- पुनर्नवा की जड़ को कांजी में घिसकर आंखों में अंजना लाभकारी है
5. खूनी बवासीर:- पुनर्नवा की जड़ को हल्दी के कांढे में देने से लाभ होता है।
